The staff at Performance Jiu-Jitsu is excited to be working with our neighbors by offering lessons in Jiu-Jitsu in Alpine, New Jersey. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is also great for kids. Children in our classes get a good foundation in martial arts, build self-confidence, and learn self-control all while having a great time. Classes are open to students age 5-13.

Louis Vintaloro is the head instructor of Performance Jiu-Jitsu, and one of our many black belt instructors. Involved in most of our classes, Louis not only knows how to execute the moves in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, but he works closely with every student to teach them the moves. This close instruction makes sure that students know not only how, but why, each move is performed.
We enjoy training with our neighbors in Alpine, New Jersey. The borough is located in Bergen County and is the easternmost community in the state. The borough is only 15 miles north of Midtown Manhattan making finding something to do close by easy. If you enjoy the outdoors then you will want to visit Palisades Interstate Park which features 30 miles of hiking and ski trails, nature sanctuary, and playgrounds.
