The building is just a 5-10 minute walk from Penn Station, Harold Square Station, and Grand Central Terminal train station.

Ticket holders can take in many exhibits throughout the building and learn the Empire State Building story while on the elevator ride up. Students in grades 3-12 are often brought to the magnificent landmark for an educational field trip.
